Day one our journey began at DFW International Airport, where we hustled to pack all the supplies team members brought into extra luggage. The excitement of the trip was building through the team, as a lot of us were meeting for the first time. Jason MacGregor, our team leader, did an excellent job getting us to talk to one another and do a few team building exercises before getting onto the plane. Everything that occurred during the day went smoothly and according to plan, and before we knew it we were on our flight. The flight was 14 hours long mostly spent sleeping and watching movies, and patiently waiting in anticipation for what was to come.
